Established in 2012, Cranky Music is home to Malaysian music producer Aubrey Suwito and his wife, songwriter Lin Lizhen. This dynamic duo has been responsible for creating numerous hit recordings while providing musical direction for countless live performances.
The resume of artistes that have passed through the studio doors include a who’s-who of Malaysian music with people like Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza, Jaclyn Victor, Faizal Tahir, Salamiah Hassan benefiting from the Cranky Music expertise. On the international front, Aubrey has also worked with international artistes David Foster, Boys 2 Men, Natalie Cole, Peter Cetera, Jackie Evancho, Eric Marienthal, Stephen Rahman-Hughes while Lizhen has penned songs for A-Mei , Jacky Cheung and a slew of Hong Kong and Taiwan based artistes.
The studio itself houses a Pro Tools digital recording system as well as a unique collection of high quality microphones and outboard gear. These, coupled with the experience and musical know-how gathered over the years guarantee a great end product for every client that walks into Cranky Music.
